Our Heritage

Torres Global Partners was founded by Cristina de Torres, consolidating a multigenerational legacy of entrepreneurship, stewardship with an international perspective.

The story begins with her grandfather, Manuel de Torres, who, inspired by his mother and alongside his academic career, established what it became one of the largest citrus plantations in the southeast of Spain. In the early 1950s, cultivating oranges, and other citrus varieties, began as a side business growing into a diversified agricultural enterprise supporting also local farmers with access to fair leased farmland and agricultural water distribution across the Murcia region. This model improved community engagement, and created long‑term value in the local communities and for the de Torres family.

The legacy was expanded by Cristina’s father, Pedro de Torres, who, alongside his international career, continued to grow the family business. Under his tenure, the original agricultural business evolved into a diversified family office managing both financial and non‑financial assets, preserving the family’s entrepreneurial spirit while onboarding new opportunities.

Today, Cristina carries this heritage forward through Torres Global Partners. Inspired by the values of excellence, trust, and innovation passed down through generations, she has built a firm that reflects the evolution of the family’s journey. Torres Global Partners now advises across three core verticals: Capital Markets, Corporate Governance, and Investments continuing the tradition of creating value, guiding organisations, and shaping sustainable growth for the future while giving back to the communities, which they do through ALMUDAYNA.
